3. Installation Requirements
The PSI63C0.728-L1 module must be installed in a closed control cabinet with proper cooling to ensure stable operation under industrial conditions. Ensure the following during installation:
• Panel mounting with M4 screws (torque 1.5 Nm) or DIN rail mounting (35 mm)
• Minimum 100 mm clearance above/below for forced air cooling (airflow ≥ 0.5 m/s)
• Separation of power and signal cables (minimum 50 mm distance)
• Compliance with Rexroth installation manual (document ID: R911340852)
4. Operational Notes
• The module requires firmware version V4.8 or higher for full EtherCAT synchronization functionality
• Regular maintenance (filter cleaning, cable inspection) should be performed every 6 months
• Configuration and commissioning via Rexroth IndraWorks Engineering software (V15+)
• Fault codes are displayed on the front-panel LED display and stored in the module's event log; refer to troubleshooting guide (R911340853) for resolution
